Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz steak ribeye or preferred cut
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme fresh

Instructions
 

  • Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until the desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • Remove steak from the pan and let it rest.
  • In the same pan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and add the thyme. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken, about 5 minutes.
  • Serve the steak drizzled with the garlic cream sauce.
