Instructions
Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until the desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Remove steak from the pan and let it rest.
In the same pan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and add the thyme. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken, about 5 minutes.
Serve the steak drizzled with the garlic cream sauce.
