Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  • Place the ribs in the slow cooker, meat side up.
