Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pie crust in a 9-inch (23cm) pie dish and crimp the edges.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
