Pigs in a Blanket are a popular appetizer made by wrapping small sausages or hot dogs in a crescent roll or puff pastry and then baking them until golden brown.

beaten, for egg wash
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry or crescent rolls and cut them into small triangles.
Place one mini sausage or hot dog on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the narrow end.
Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops of the wrapped sausages with the beaten egg.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
