Ingredients
  

  • 1 piece tuna steak approximately 6-8 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Pat the tuna steak dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the olive oil over both sides of the tuna steak.
  • Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat until very hot.
  • Place the tuna steak in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until a crust forms.
  • Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
