cranberry juice
Can substitute with pomegranate juice if desired.

Instructions
In a large pot, combine the apple juice and cranberry juice over medium heat.
Add the sliced orange, cinnamon stick, cloves, honey, and star anise to the pot.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, and reduce the heat to low.
Simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain the mixture to remove spices and serve hot.
