Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder level
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder culinary grade
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 units large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk room temperature
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line standard muffin pan with paper liners.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, matcha powder, and salt until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix sugar and melted butter until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips gently.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
