Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line standard muffin pan with paper liners.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, matcha powder, and salt until combined.
In a separate bowl, mix sugar and melted butter until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips gently.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
