Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 200 grams fettuccine pasta uncooked
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Pour heavy cream into the same pan and stir in parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the pan. Mix well to coat with the sauce.
  • Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
