Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  • Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the chicken.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
