Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Layer the sliced potatoes evenly in a baking dish.
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and minced garlic over medium heat until warm. Do not boil.
Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle the grated gruyere cheese evenly over the top of the potatoes.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
