Grilled Jalapeno Tuna Steaks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces tuna steaks fresh, about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced jalapeno, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour marinade over. Ensure steaks are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  • Remove tuna steaks from marinade and place on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  • Remove tuna from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
