A quick and delicious way to prepare cabbage that results in a flavorful dish perfect as a side or main course.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or use butter for extra richness
  • 1 medium green cabbage core removed, sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds optional
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optional caraway seeds. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage has softened and browned slightly, about 15 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
