Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and orange zest. Cook until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each side.
Pour the cranberry-orange glaze over the chicken breasts.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
