Ingredients
  

  • 4 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp sugar can use brown sugar for more flavor
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add apples to the skillet and stir to coat with butter.
  • Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the apples. Stir well to combine.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and coated in syrup.
