Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg, then whisk in the milk and melted butter.
  • Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat, lightly greased with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve warm, topped with additional chocolate chips or syrup if desired.
