Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 1 wheel Parmesan cheese hollowed out
  • 50 grams butter unsalted
  • 50 ml cream heavy
  • to taste salt for pasta water
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, prepare the cheese wheel by shaving off some cheese from the center to create a small cavity if needed.
  • In a pan, melt the butter over low heat, then add the cream and heat through.
  • Once the pasta is done, drain and reserve some pasta water.
  • Immediately transfer the hot pasta into the cheese wheel and toss to coat, adding cream and butter mixture as needed.
  • If the pasta is too thick, loosen the sauce with reserved pasta water.
  • Season with freshly ground black pepper and additional cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
