Butter steak is one of those dishes that proves you do not need a long list of ingredients to create something unforgettable.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter
  • 12 oz strip steak
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • steak seasoning
  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Instructions
 

  • Season the steaks and let them sit to reach room temperature.
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a pan.
  • Cook the steaks in the pan for about 7 minutes.
  • Turn the steaks over and cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with your choice of sides
