Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz penne pasta uncooked
  • 6 oz bacon chopped
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • to taste salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
  • In the same skillet, add olive oil and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Return bacon to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss everything together to coat with the sauce.
  • Season with black pepper and salt to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
