Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
