Ingredients
  

  • 4 artichokes medium-sized, halved and cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lemon lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Drizzle the artichoke halves with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix the honey, lemon juice, and zest together, then evenly pour over the artichokes.
  • Season the artichokes with salt and black pepper.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the artichokes are tender and caramelized.
  • Serve hot as a side dish or appetizer.
