The Refreshing Moscow Mule

Known for its iconic copper mug and its invigorating, spicy kick, the Moscow Mule is a beloved classic that never goes out of style. Combining smooth vodka, zesty fresh lime juice, and fizzy, ginger-forward ginger beer, this cocktail is incredibly crisp and refreshing. The traditional copper mug is not just for show—it rapidly takes on the icy temperature of the drink, keeping your cocktail beautifully frosty from the very first sip to the last.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Premium Vodka (A clean, smooth vodka lets the spicy ginger flavor take center stage)
  • 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice (Freshly squeezed is essential for that crisp, tart bite)
  • 4 to 6 oz Ginger beer (Use a high-quality ginger beer, not ginger ale, for a genuine spicy kick)
  • 1 sprig Fresh mint (Optional, but highly recommended for an aromatic garnish)

Instructions

  • Grab a classic copper mug (or a standard highball glass if you do not have one) and fill it to the top with ice.
  • Pour the fresh lime juice and the vodka directly over the ice.
  • Top the glass off with the spicy ginger beer.
  • Using a bar spoon, gently stir the drink for a few seconds to mix the ingredients and evenly chill the mug. The copper should become frosty on the outside almost immediately!
  • Garnish your cocktail with a fresh lime wedge and a sprig of mint. Serve ice cold and enjoy!
