Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 tbsp baking powder none
  • 0.5 tsp salt none
  • 1 cup milk room temperature
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley none
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives none
  • 1 tsp dried thyme none

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the cheese, parsley, chives, and thyme.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
