Delicious and decadent Red Wine Truffles are a perfect treat for chocolate and wine lovers. These creamy truffles are easy to make and can be a delightful addition to any dessert platter.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams dark chocolate finely chopped
  • 100 ml red wine your choice of dry red wine
  • 50 ml heavy cream at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 50 grams cocoa powder for rolling

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and red wine over low heat until just about to simmer. Do not let it boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped dark chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth and fully melted.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into a shallow dish, cover, and refrigerate until firm, about 2-3 hours.
  • Using a spoon or a melon baller, scoop small amounts of the firm chocolate mixture and roll them into balls.
  • Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat evenly.
  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature before serving.
