In a medium mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Whisk until smooth.
Add the fresh dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. If you prefer a thinner dressing, add a little more buttermilk.
Chill the dressing in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
Serve the ranch dressing as a salad dressing, dip, or as desired.
