Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk use any type of milk you prefer
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee or espresso hot
  • whipped optional whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar until steam begins to rise.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in the pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the pumpkin mixture with hot coffee or espresso in a large mug.
  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice before serving.
