Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin trimmed of silver skin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the pork rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
