Instructions
In a small bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water and sprinkle the yeast over the top. Let it stand for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix in the yogurt and oil, then add the yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls. Roll out each ball on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Lightly grease it. Place the rolled-out dough on the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form and the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes.
