Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined.
Fill each halved jalapeño pepper with the cheese mixture.
Cut puff pastry into thin strips and wrap each filled jalapeño with pastry strips, leaving space for the eyes.
Brush the wrapped jalapeños with beaten egg.
Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before adding candy eyes to complete the mummy effect.
