any type, such as dairy, almond, or soy

not boiling, around 160°F

such as honey, sugar, or agave, optional
Instructions
Sift the matcha powder into a mug to remove lumps.
Add hot water to the mug and whisk briskly in a zigzag motion until the matcha is fully dissolved and a frothy layer forms.
In a small pot, heat milk over medium heat until steaming, stirring often. Do not boil.
Froth the milk using a frother or whisk until it reaches your desired level of frothiness.
Pour the frothed milk into the matcha mixture, stirring to combine. Add sweetener if desired and mix well.
Serve immediately and enjoy your warm matcha latte.
