Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus more for dusting
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil plus more for greasing
  • 1/4 cup za'atar prepared or homemade

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  • Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 4 portions.
  • Roll each portion into a circle about 1/4-inch thick. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Mix the za'atar with olive oil to form a paste and spread evenly over each rolled dough.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and serve warm.
