Preferably sourdough or your choice of bread

cheddar cheese
Or your choice of cheese

jalapeño
Sliced thin

tablespoon
butter
Softened
Instructions
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Place one slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of one piece of bread.
Add the sliced jalapeños on top of the cheese.
Top with the remaining slice of cheese.
Cover with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
