Instructions
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy and well combined.
Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar and continue beating on low speed. Then increase to medium speed and beat until fully mixed and smooth.
Mix in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
Taste the frosting and add more powdered sugar if desired for thickness or more vanilla extract for flavor. Continue to beat until well combined.
Use immediately for frosting cakes, cupcakes, cookies, or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
