A delightful combination of savory ham, sweet pear, and creamy cheese grilled to perfection in a panini.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread such as ciabatta or sourdough
  • 2 ounces ham thinly sliced
  • 1/2 whole pear sliced
  • 1 ounce cheese such as brie or Swiss, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Layer ham, pear slices, and cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread.
  • Place the sandwich on the preheated panini press or skillet, buttered side out.
  • Grill for about 3-5 minutes or until the bread is golden and the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from heat, cut in half if desired, and serve warm.
