In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken and buffalo hot sauce until the chicken is evenly coated.
In a separate large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth.
Add the chicken mixture to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and the crumbled blue cheese, if using.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
