Ingredients
  

  • 1 large onion cut into petals
  • 1 cup buttermilk for soaking
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 tsp paprika for seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder for seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch

Instructions
 

  • Cut the onion into petals and soak them in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Remove onion petals from buttermilk and dredge them in the flour mixture.
  • Coat the petals in panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange the coated onion petals in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
